WE HAVE SOME NEWS

After ten years of good wine, good people, and more good times than we can count, we've made the incredibly difficult decision to close our Brunswick East venue.

Like so many others, we've been up against it - cost of living squeezing our customers, and the cost of running the place squeezing us. It's reached the point where it's just no longer sustainable.

What a time it’s been: We've made delicious wine side-by-side with over 1000 of you over the years, and hosted more gigs, celebrations, pissups and catchups than you can pop a cork at - we’re really going to miss it. We've watched friendships form over a glass and strangers become regulars become friends.

This whole thing was built on the warmth and enthusiasm of good people, and it stayed standing because of you. Especially through the pandemic - the kindness and support you showed us during those years brought a tear to the eye almost daily. So thank you. Genuinely.

A massive thank you also to our incredible staff - the absolute backbone of everything we've done. Their dedication and good humour through a genuinely tough few years has meant the world to us. Special love and endless thanks to LJ, AW, WC, SC, RK, KH, TF, GD, SR, FM, AF, KA, EN, JG and TC. ❤️

Our last day of trade in Brunswick East is Saturday 13 June. We'd love to see you (Thurs/Fri/Sat) between now and then - bring a crew, raise a glass, and say a proper goodbye to the devil’s ivy.

We still love making wine so we’re hoping to keep the dream alive in some form - we’ll be in touch soon once we figure out what the next chapter looks like for NR.

Noisy Ritual is a truly unique experience in Melbourne, and a haven for lovers of good booze, food & music.

Founded by two mates after the serendipitous discovery of a wine fermenter in a suburban basement, it's now a full scale winery making premium wine in the city with grapes sourced from vineyards all over Victoria.

We’re out to demystify the winemaking process by bringing good people together over great wine, food and music to learn about, taste and create wine in the big smoke.

Making and drinking wine should be a celebration: relaxed, loud, inclusive and fun.
